COLUMBUS is our boat bed for kids who love travel and adventure. We made it as part of our travel (FOKKER) series of beds, for kids who dream about travel and adventures.

The bed is for boys and for girls. It is absolutely unique and its style is unique even for us. We can produce these beds in any colors, and usually our customers ask them with contrasting outer and inner body and silver windows. But you can decide on your own colors – our flexible production technology allows us to paint them into any colors you want.

We ship the bed with a mast. We do not offer sails, but both sails and tents can be fit on top, making playing on the bed even more fun.

These children beds are very practical. They are frequently ordered with a large drawer that can help you collect all the kids toys and cloths and keep the room tidy. You can also order a drawer matras, which will effectively make this a double-decker bed for families with two kids or with frequent guests.

Mattresses

These kids beds are typically ordered with a cold foam 90 x 170 x 14 mattress that provides medium hardness, wonderful support and long-term usage quality.

The cover is stain-resistant, and can be removed and washed.

You will have absolutely no issues with this mattress.

Production and safety

We hand build our COLUMBUS boat bed from start to finish in our small factory in Heteren, Netherlands, for more than 20 years.

The bed is made from high-density wooden board (MDF), and painted in two layers of scratch-resistant water-based acrillic paint.

All pointy parts are child-proofed with solid-wood balls.
